The Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin has five (5) vacancies for professionals with faculty/instructional development or assessment backgrounds.

FACULTY/INSTRUCTIONAL DEVELOPMENT POSITIONS
The Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin has two (2) vacancies for individuals with backgrounds in college-level graduate student support or faculty/instructional development.  Qualified individuals will be self-starters with the ability to design and manage multiple clients and instructional development activities, consult individually and present to large groups, speak in both practical and theoretical terms about learning theory and the socio-emotional aspects of effective instruction and exhibit maturity, integrity, discretion, a positive attitude and grace under pressure. 1) Post-Doctoral Fellow
The Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow to design, implement, and manage graduate student support programs of various types (both cohort- and workshop-based). In addition to organizing, managing and researching programmatic GSI support offerings, this position will present workshops and consult with graduate students one-on-one about on all aspects of teaching and learning.  May supervise graduate student assistants and may travel to other universities to conduct research and disseminate best-practices in college level teaching and learning. 2) Instructional Developer - STEM
The Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for an Instructional Developer with PH.D. in Instructional Design, Educational Psychology, Curriculum and Instruction, or a completed Ph.D. in STEM field with 5 years of experience in faculty/instructional development to advance excellence in teaching and learning through educational assessment and research. This position will lead advanced instructional design work in supporting the Course Transformation Program at The University of Texas at Austin, so the successful candidate will have a deep, broad, and sophisticated "bag of tricks" when it comes to assembling moment-to-moment instructional sequences in and out of the classroom. The Center for Teaching and Learning at The University of Texas at Austin is looking for a Psychometrician with an advanced degree in Educational Psychology, Psychology, Sociology, or related field with an emphasis in psychometrics, statistics, or quantitative methods to advance excellence in teaching and learning through educational research, evaluation, and assessment. The Psychometrician will help develop educational placement and proficiency tests, conduct rigorous data analyses, and engage in scholarly classroom-based research.  This position requires advanced quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and the ability to consult with faculty to assess instructional quality and student achievement.
