I'd say that they should look for the same things they should look for in any classroom: 1) are students learning (e.g. measurements/assessments of individual learning such as tests, homework, and meeting/exceeding established competencies) and 2) are students satisfied with their educational experience (course evaluations).

Best,
Vanessa

Subject: TBL instructors

I am looking for research, tools, and information concerning the classroom observations of instructors using team-based learning. How do supervisors know what to look for in a team-based learning classroom? How is the teacher evaluated? Please help if you can.

Thank you,
Lori
