I also use the VARK inventory (www.vark-learn.com) and then plot their 
scores on a chart so that I can see the best way to distribute them in 
to heterogeneous groups as a result.  In 2001 I wrote a pair of 
articles for the Teaching Professor, which outlined this very process.
