I’m putting out a call for help. I’m doing a session at the TBL conference this week in which I hope to share creative ways to do a SIMULTANEOUS REPORT. I have some ideas but, I decided to tap into the collective wisdom of the TBL list serv.
If you have discovered a unique way (or ways--the more the merrier) to do a SIMULTANEOUS REPORT that you would like to share, please e-mail the idea(s) directly to me at <[log in to unmask]>. That will help me put together an extensive set of examples for the conference session and, after I'll add additional ideas from the session and share them on the web site. If you’d like to contribute one or more ideas, please send the following information:
1) Subject/concept(s) you are teaching (e.g. organizational behavior/interpersonal influence processes, statistics/normal distribution, etc.:
2) What you want your students to be able to DO to demonstrate that they have mastered the concept(s) (i.e., what kind of problem you give them and what choice(s) do you want them to be able to make):
3) How you conduct the SIMULTANEOUS REPORT (i.e., how you have them report their choice(s):
4) (optional) Your name and e-mail address so others can contact you with question or suggestions. (If you leave this one blank, I'll thank you personally but, present the idea as an anonymous contribution.)
I think adding to the SIMULTANEOUS REPORT collective wisdom will be a big help to all of us.
Sincerely,
Larry
