It seems like we have had at least a few new folks join the list recently (welcome!) and I though it might be worth reminding everyone and informing new members about next's years international Team-Based Learning Conference.

2009 TEAM-BASED LEARNING CONFERENCE DETAILS

WHEN?
March 5th and 6th (with a "TBL 101" pre-conference workshop on the 4th)

WHERE?
University of Texas at Austin

WHAT?
- This will be a historic conference, as it will celebrate the expansion of the TBL Collaborative to include all postsecondary disciplines and a scholarship of teaching and learning initiative.

- Conference will include both a Basic Skills track (facilitation skills, assignment design, peer assessments) and an Innovations track (e.g., adaptations of TBL to new contexts and populations, the voices of students, TBL in online settings, etc.).

WHAT ELSE?
Details are currently being nailed down and publicity materials generated.  Stay tuned.

For now, SAVE THE DATE!  March in Austin is a lovely time of year.  :-)
