I have tended not to grade application exercises, for several reasons.

1) I don't usually have a TA, and there is a limit on how much grading I want to do.
2) Enough of the exercises have no specific right answer.
3) If we go over the exercises as a class, they may alter their answers. I don't want to snatch the exercises away before going over them as a group.
